Note

Meow! My name is Matty. My life hasn’t been easy since I was little. I suffered from cat flu and severe conjunctivitis in my right eye when I was only 2 months old. My life and my eye were saved thanks to the inspector who brought me to the SPCA for a life-changing operation. But maybe because of my poor health, I was easily agitated. If anyone tried to pet me, I would growl and snap at them in a second. The SPCA staff then decided to care for me in the Customer Service office instead of keeping me in the cattery. This allowed me to interact with more people and build my trust and confidence in people again. I have since worked my way up to becoming a Manager at the CS office. I might not be the cutest cat in the world but I have now relearned to enjoy the companionship of my humans and now long for a forever home with my own people.
